Nancy Collins

My  fascination with art began when I was only six years old.
I was inspired by my uncle's artistic sketchings, who also tagged me with the nickname "Nance".
I began my journey with my photo-realism style of painting while working
in the garment districts of New York. I continued my studies under such world-renowned artists
as Joyce Pike, John-Seerey Lester and Carl Brenders. I later settled down in my southern Ozark hometown and opened my own art studio doors, to other aspiring artists as an instructor.

In 2006 my friend Deb and I decided to merge our creative ideas from both our love of art and animals.
Hence, the birth of Canvas Critters!

My artistic endeavors have been an abundance of rewards beyond my expectations.

Painting a commissioned portrait requires a large commitment from both parties. Digital scans are sent for your final approval for any changes that you may request. We want to insure your complete satisfaction with the finished product. A 50% deposit is required to commence work on your portrait. Upon approval of the final digital scans the remaining balance will be due and your painting will be shipped UPS(tracking provided)and insured.

PAYMENT METHODS ACCEPTED: Mastercard, Visa, Pay Pal, Money Orders and Cashier Checks. Personal Checks are also accepted however, there is a 10 day hold to allow funds to clear our bank. Shipping fees are calculated by the dimensions and weight of package.

RETURN POLICY: Digital scans are sent for customers final approval on all custom orders before shipping. All sales are FINAL once we have received your approval and item has shipped.


CUSTOM PAINTING DISCLOSURE: Free return shipping includes a 5lb shipping weight limit on customers personal items received for custom painting. Please contact seller for larger item shipping quotes.
